ALLENTOWN, PA, JUNE 2009 — Alvin H. Butz, Inc. is once again among the Top 100 construction management firms in the U.S. positioned at number 91, as ranked and published by Engineering News-Record magazine (ENR). ENR, a construction industry trade magazine published by McGraw-Hill Inc. of New York, also ranked Butz among the Top 400 contractors, at number 250. The Top 400 list includes construction management and general contracting firms.
Alvin H. Butz, Inc. is the longest standing construction management company in the Lehigh Valley and the fourth largest CM firm in Pennsylvania based on ENR’s rankings.
Butz is currently managing construction projects totaling over $1 billion. Notable current projects in the Lehigh Valley include Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, Allentown School District’s Facilities Improvements, Moravian College’s Payne Hurd Campus Residence, Lehigh County’s Courthouse Expansion and Renovation and Lehigh University’s S.T.E.P.S. building. Butz’s Philadelphia office, known as Shoemaker Construction Co. is currently managing the renovations to Amtrak’s Historic Wilmington Station in Wilmington, DE.
